MSCHA HV Reactive Automatic Compensation Device


MSCHA HV reactive automatic compensation device is a capacitor bank which automatically switches in steps and is connected in parallel with the 3~20kV busbar of the distribution transformer to provide the corresponding capacitive reactive power, according to the reactive load condition of the distribution transformer. The device adopts a unit building block design, each step has a circuit, and each circuit is independent into a cabinet, and the number of cabinets (number of circuits) can be expanded to increase the capacity. The series reactance can effectively suppress harmonics and inrush current, and the step-by-step switching can greatly improve the bus power factor and stabilize it at a certain level, thereby stabilizing the system voltage and improving the utilization rate of the transformer.
