Two container-type substations designed and manufactured by Derun Electric have officially been shipped to the Zhabuye Salt Lake project site in Tibet. Two trucks are carrying them, heading to the snow-covered plateau at an altitude of 4,500 meters.
The air up there is thin, which seriously affects the external insulation strength and heat dissipation efficiency of conventional equipment. We didn’t just copy the usual designs; we carried out a full-chain derating design, actively upgraded the external insulation level, recalculated the heat dissipation efficiency, and used high-strength container enclosures, bringing the whole station's protection to IP54.
From the heartland of Jianghuai to the roof of the world, this is not just a long journey for two pieces of equipment—it’s a testament to Derun’s manufacturing strength under extreme conditions.
