Why is a busbar bridge needed between two rows of ABB MNS2.0 low-voltage switchgear cabinets when they are connected?

First, cross connection. When there is a passage or distance between cabinets and direct connection is not possible, the busbar bridge acts as an 'electrical corridor' in the air, safely and efficiently directing the transformer’s electrical energy to each row of cabinets.

Second, high current, low loss. Compared with densely packed cables, the busbar bridge has a shorter path, lower resistance, and higher current-carrying capacity, significantly reducing voltage drop and heat generation, making long-term operation more energy-efficient.

Third, customized design. Fully enclosed metal housing prevents contact and short circuits, does not occupy a trench, can be mounted on top with a bottom clearance, making passage, equipment handling, and on-site installation convenient.

Derun Electric focuses on complete MNS2.0 low-voltage switchgear solutions, making power distribution more reliable.
